I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the yoga holiday in Spain last month. Although not actively practising regular yoga I was able to keep up with the group but did not feel under any pressure. Your expert tuition and guidance enabled us all to progress at our natural pace yet still provided a challenge to all abilities.
I have suffered with joint pains for many years and had been concerned that I would not manage an intensive week of daily yoga. However I managed each daily session and actually found that my usual aches and pains were much improved (albeit replaced by healthy aching muscles from new activity!)
I am determined to continue with regular yoga now that I am at home and in fact today I undertook an hour of energising and flexibility postures followed by relaxation. I am now so relaxed that I’m surprised I’ve managed to write this letter to you.
Thank you for running these holidays and inspiring me to stay fit for life. It was a wonderful time for us both to unwind from our busy lives and slow down enough to enjoy good company, good food and soak up the sun with a good book (and a glass of wine!) … and of course to practise yoga.
The food cooked by Camelia was as divine as I remembered and I have also been inspired to keep up with the healthy Mediterranean diet. I have yet to make paella but I have been using her dishes to inspire my own cooking.
We hope to join you again another year and meet more new people. Thank you once again for a truly rejuvenating holiday.
After a short journey from Malaga airport to our home for the week we arrived at the beautiful villa with views of the sea and mountains. Being able to have our two hour Yoga classes in the open air was truly magical especially the sun salutations with the early morning glow of the sun. Karen had obviously spent a lot of time and effort planning the classes to ensure they were enjoyable and beneficial to all. Food cooked and served by Camelia and husband Richard was absolutely delicious, real flavours, beautifully presented restaurant quality food. I enjoyed the sights and tapas out with the girls in Malaga one night. Overall I think everyone finished the holiday feeling more relaxed and with a heightened sense of wellbeing.
It’s not often you go on holiday and your mind and body feel the impact of that holiday beyond the flight home, but this one has left me feeling relaxed and positively serene. I loved the morning Yoga and the wondrous delights after of a brunch eaten outside which was natures food at its best. The holiday felt to me like a house party, there was space to spend quiet time alone and people to chat to when the need arose which was perfect. I will be booking onto another holiday with Karen!
